Bigger is not always better…T-shirt size that is

Bigger isn’t always better…bigger t-shirts that is…a bigger, curvier healthy body however is super fine 😘

Finding the right sized T-shirt has always been a struggle for me, I always tend to purchase tops that are too big because I sometimes feel like I need to hide my body. I know I need to ditch this way of thinking and embrace my outer image but old habits still sometimes possess my way of thinking when I shop for clothes.

Feeling insecure is normal, everyone has an insecure moment here and there but how we handle our insecurity and control our feelings is what’s important.  Staying confident, learning to love your body the way it is and accepting yourself will push those insecure thoughts away allowing you to empower your being as curvy, fierce and beautiful!

This brings me here, my new Torrid outfit

This new “Hey Girl Hey” white t-shirt is awesomely cool. The cotton material is perfect for hot summer days. I’m wearing a size 3x but really should have chosen a 2x or even a 1x.  When I tried it on in the dressing room I didn’t consider the fact that it would stretch. After seeing my photos I realized that I need to carefully consider my sizes when shopping for tops. However, it’s still a fabulous, cool shirt that I will likely be wearing almost every day this summer! Obsessed!!

The pants are also from Torrid, they are so popular and they are selling out fast! This Noir Collection Millenial Pixie Pant is flattering, fits perfectly, is high enough on the waist to provide a little tummy control and also stretches making it super comfy. The material is light and would pair nicely with any top.  I’m wearing a 2x.

For the shoes I decided to go with my Coach cork wedges and Louis Vuitton Speedy. I ended up leaving the accessories at home because the shirt was so fabulously loud that I knew my friends would respond “Hey Girl Heyyyyyy” when they saw this fun top 😎
