Nadia Aboulhosn for Love & Legend at Addition Elle

In case you haven’t heard, fashion blogger Nadia Aboulhosn recently collaborated with Addition Elle to create a fall line and I have to say that it is AMAZING!  Nadia Aboulhosn has always been one of my favourite real size bloggers, she is daring, fierce, chic, and has a really great eye for fashion.  Her look screams confidence which I really admire.

A few weeks ago I visited the Addition Elle Sunridge location in Calgary, which also happens to be my favourite Alberta location simply because of the great service from a very friendly and outgoing sales lady (I don’t know her name but I’ll ask her the next time I see her to give her a shout out because she is that awesome!), and noticed Nadia’s photo on an Addition Elle ad.  I immediately thought “Holy Sh*t! That’s Nadia Aboulhosn! I love her style and can’t wait to see what she’s got in store!”

When I walked through those front doors the first thing thing I saw was the Nadia Aboulhosn Trench Dress! I swear, it was like the gates of heaven opened and revealed THE fall dress for me!

I fell in love with this trench dress, it is comfy, flattering, and has pockets! I love pockets, any clothing item that has pockets is a bonus for me 🙂

For this look I chose the Michael Kors Hamilton Large Tote in Black Saffiano.  This is my favourite tote, the gold detail and MK lock and key give it that chic classic MK look.  The super cute shoes are the Chaella gold sparkly flats from Spring shoes.

I love jewelry and have always loved gold on black so I figured nice gold coloured earrings would be best! These earrings were purchased at Aldo a few years ago when one of my friends said to me “Oh My G*d! You have to get these earrings, they are so you! If you’re gonna have a fashion blog then you need a good statement piece to go with all those black clothes you wear!” I threw my head back and laughed! All my girlfriends know that I like to wear black!

“Pink sparkles, lots of pink sparkles! F*ck it, I’m gonna bring on the eye bling!”  That’s what I thought when I was going through my Mac pigment collection.  I’ve worn this colour only once before and when I came across it I thought “this should look good with the black and gold. Black dress, gold earrings and pink sparkles on the eyes!” I really like the effect that came out, I started with a cream coloured base, a light pink eye shadow and layered then blended the pink sparkle, when I was done I leaned back, took a long look at my self and thought “Wow this is bold! But screw it, who cares, being daring and fearless is what I’m all about!”
