October has finally arrived! Time for crisp morning air, falling leaves, pumpkin spice latte’s and of course…..long fashionable coats!
For a while I had been searching for the perfect sleeveless coat and I finally found it! This sleeveless coat can be worn with anything including short or long sleeve tops, tank tops, off shoulder tops, dresses, just about anything you can think of. It truly is a great fit and would work on any body type, if your looking for that chic, professional looking “comfort blanket” then this is it!
This coat was purchased at Addition Elle and is a part of their Love and Legend collection. It features a rounded lapel collar, flap pockets, full inner lining and is tailored to fit a curvy sexy body 😉
For this look I chose the green “skinny” pants, a Parasuco top that I got last year and my favourite black patent leather wedges purchased from Little Burgundy.
Keeping this coat clean is super easy. When I notice a dirty spot I’ll mix a little baby shampoo with warm water and lightly wipe with a clean cloth in a circular motion for a few seconds to remove the spot. However, when it gets too dirty, stained, or smelly from wearing it everyday (trust me, you will be tempted to wear it everyday) then it should be dry cleaned. Dry cleaning will not only clean and remove stains but it will also help to maintain the shape making it last longer.
For this look I decided to keep my hair naturally curly. I teased the back to give it a little lift and pinned the front. I tried to keep my makeup natural but got carried away with the eyeliner although you can’t really see it in these pictures because they are a little fuzzy, I still haven’t learned how to properly set my camera for outdoor photos. I have a great camera however my self-photography skills are less than perfect but time and practice should help. If you have any tips on taking self photos then I would love to hear them!
Thanks for taking the time to read my post, let me know what you think about this look, feel free to share what you would wear it with or give me a challenge and suggest something to try it with, I really enjoy reading your comments!
